Has anyone replaced their dining seat foam with new firmer foam?

I have a JayFeather 24T.

So far flipping cushions and changing from one side to the other side works for dinettle, but as for the couch, we can't change those. So Don (who is heavier and sits there mostly) will try to change where he sits from the left side, middle side, or right side. So far the one cushion that gets little use is the left cushion.

I have thought about putting some memory foam in there, but I am not sure it would make that much difference once it compresses under you....my problem is when one person sits down - the other pops up. I need to add some type of venting to the air can get out faster....

If you can remove and replace the fabric without destroying the cushion beyond your capability to repair, you could put in some grommets at the back of the cushion where they won't show. I would glue some fabric to the foam where the grommets are so the foam doesn't try to crumble through the grommet.
