I recently installed the Wingard SensorPro. On previous trailers, I've found the SensorPro to be extremely helpful in aligning the TV antenna to receive the strongest digital TV signals.
I initially had difficulty determining a location for it because replacement of the current RV antenna wall plate power supply was not an option because if it's location on the back wall within a cabinet below the radio. I needed to mount the SensorPro at a location where its readouts could easily be viewed and the cables from the current wall plate location could reach.
I decided to locate the SensorPro along side the Radio as shown here:
Sorry, I forgot to take additional pictures during the installation, but here's a narrative on the installation.
The radio was easily pulled out by removal of the 4 screws and there was sufficient room and access to route the cables to the new location.
I removed the RV antenna wall plate, removed the cables and routed them to the location of the SensorPro. I tapped into the RV antenna wall plate's DC power cables to power the SensorPro. Drilled a hole through the wood using a wood drill bit to allow cable and power connections for the SensorPro.
Hope someone finds this post helpful and/or interesting.
