Sewer Hose Holder

On my last RV I had an adjustable sewer hose holder that I mounted under the back bumper. This is a great sewer hose holder as it fits the rhinoflex sewer hose and fittings easily. Took it off to put on our new Jayco. New Jayco had no bumper. Getting to old to crawl under and attach to frame somewhere. DW found this hitch extender with step on Harbor Freight. Bought it and mounted a board on top of it. Painted it. Mounted Sewer hose holder on the board. Then put in hitch. Took some heavy duty zip ties and tied off to hitch frame underneath to minimize back and forth movement. Still has some up and down wobble movement. Doesn't look too bad on the back of the trailer and will make it real easy to get at the hose. Just one of the mods I have done so far.
Later,
DL

Good idea. Buy a hitch silencer and it will lock it in place.

Nice job! I don’t think I’ve seen a camper without a bumper...
