Question Solar Panel Installation

Looking for advice on adding solar panels to our 2020 Jayco Precept 34G.
It already has the power input connections for solar power in the utilities compartment for water hookup and TV cable/satellite connections.
Has anyone done this already on the Precept 34G?
Recommended kit?
Do you do this yourself or have it done at the dealer?
Labor and or cost involved?

Thanking you ahead of time for your input!!

I did my own solar, and IMO, it's not hard at all. There are a gazillion Youtubes out there to walk you through the hookup.

Some things that I had to think thru were: how many panels up top, and what kind? How will I attach them to my roof? How big is my charge controller? What gauge wiring will I use? How will I add switches to power thing off if I need to?

That took a little bit of time. But the wiring wasn't hard at all. There are four major wires in the mix. Two (pos/neg) from your panels to the controller. And two (pos/neg) from the controller to the house battery.

Thanks for the reply! After looking at my owners manual, I believe there is a connection already on the roof that’s wired to the utility basement compartment. Don’t have access to my RV at the moment (parked in storage) but will see what I’ll need out side of panels on the roof.
