My LED panels arrived from China today that I bought off ebay. Pack of 10 for $17 and a dollar shipping from China so I didn't expect much. They came with adapters for 3 different bulb styles and the wires needed a bit of adjusting to make contact in the sockets but they all worked. The panels produce heat though not anywhere close to the stock bulbs but enough that the 3M double sided tape glue softens enough that a few panels peeled off. Probably not even really 3M tape! :hihi: Here is some before and after shots. http://www.jaycoowners.com/album.php?albumid=327

The ones I bought don't have the adhesive. They just plug directly into the outlet and resemble the shape of a very small frying pan and the cost was about the same. I had one burn out but the rest were fine on a recent 2 month trip. Also on Ebay.

I used the 36 led panels. Also from ebay. I had the same thought about the 3M tape. Its either fake or they got it from the 3M plant next door...
They get warm but nowhere near as hot as the 921s. I need to check the temp with the Infrared thermometer.
The ones in the link are cool blue I believe. Definitely blue compared to the yellowish colour of the stock bulbs. The shipping was slow as stated in the ebay listing but for a buck you can't complain. The brightness is pretty close to the stock bulbs as well but the blue makes it seem a bit dimmer but that's what we were looking for. My wife and I found the stock bulbs to be too bright when we are trying to put our son to bed and the dual fixture above the dinette bed was way too bright when lying in bed.
