I removed our sofa/sleeper (uncomfortable for sitting AND sleeping) with Thomas Payne theater seating. 3 recliners and an extra armrest between two of the pieces. The pieces just “hook” together. Facing the seats they connect from right to left IIRC. Once connected and positioned I screwed each one to the floor in the slide. If I removed the screws I could then lift each section out in reverse order. The backs are also removable from the seat making things easier to move but they can be difficult to attach/detach when in their final position.
Getting close to the 3 year anniversary of this upgrade and we are still very pleased.
