Theatre Seating Workaround
Had a problem with the theatre seating where when I opened one it would go nonstop to the full recline position and completely stopped working. Called Lippert and we decided it was the controller. New one is being sent so all is good. Since it was open it was easy to unbolt. I then asked the Tec what can I do if it fails in the closed position. GOOD LUCK. Not taking that as the answer I came up with a work around. I removed the 4 bolts that secured the foot rest and replaced them with extreme outdoor velcro. Now if either one fails I can just peel up the foot rest and get to the screws. Problem solved.
