Question Thinking About Replacing the Sofa

We recently bought a nice recliner sofa for the house and it hit me that it would fit the 5th. The “L” sofa is looking a little tired and is really not that comfortable, the bed is worthless. The backs on the new sofa are removable so I figure I could get it thru the door (or remove a window). It will certainly fit the space where the old sofa is now.
I think the new one is heavier than the current but not by a huge amount. It’s mounted in the big slide which also has the fridge and oven in it. The slide mech is the older style Lippert thru-frame. I’d like opinions about making the swap and any weight issues I might face.

The slide I have is not exactly like yours but I replaced my old uncomfortable sleeper/loveseat in my 5er slide out last year and have had no problems. I bought a Flexsteel recliner/loveseat that actually came apart in 4 pieces so it was easy to install. I'm not that heavy a guy so figured should be no problem...and it wasn't. So much better. I wished I'd have done it when I bought the rv new.

An update on my delima. I’d convinced myself to replace the sofa as I described above. Visited the 5th today to take some careful measurements before plunking down some hard cash.
“Measure twice and buy once” I think is how that saying goes.
I already knew the width was just about perfect but needed to insure the slide was deep enough. Turns out it’s not, I need a minimum of 41” and the slide is only 34”.
Looks like if I want recliners (I do) I’ll have to look at RV furniture.

A wall hugger sofa or wall hugger recliner sits with it's back against the wall, and that saves some front-to-back inches. My favorite is the Lazy Boy Pinnacle series.
