TPMS TST 507 internal

So, I'm looking at the TST 507 kit w/internal sensors. My trailer wheels have shirt stems so going with the caps won't work due to caps will hit on the wheels. Longer stems doesn't make me feel all.warm and fuzzy inside with the extra flexing that would be going on. Metal stems are a possibility but I think they'll hang out too far, and I don't think it'll look too good. Replacing the stems with the flow thru I guess is a possibility, but from what I understand the batteries only last a few years. The internals have longer battery life.
Anyone have these?
Any issues??
Etc...

Hi
I bought the tireminder a year ago before we went to Florida. The external version non flow thru.
No issues with short valve stems
They work well so far... I pull the batteries while trailer is stored... They send spare batteries. I installed with the repeater inside front compartment above the door.

I was thinking the same location for the repeater. Easy access to power because my house battery is right there too.
I spoke with TST today and got some useful info. I was also told they supply Forest River with their units have now become an option. Dont quote me on the number but I thought the guy I spoke with said TST supplied like 50,000 units to them. Thats a lot of product. Lol!

Yes, I have 4 years and 41k miles on TST 507 internal, band mount. Battery life is supposed to be about the same as OEM automotive. These are on a 2017 class C motorhome. I also had the same on a tow dolly for about a year, until we changed to flat towing and cap sensors for the toad. I have been alerted twice due to slow leaks from road debris and was able to swap to the spare on the dolly and made it to a tire shop who put an internal patch on an inside dual. Very very good system.

TST TPMS 507 Internal Sensors (Band mounted)

This is what the internal sensors look like using the band mounts, as recommended to me by TST customer support. My local Discount Tire did the install and balance for $18 a wheel and said there would be N/C to replace them if I furnished them when I replace the tires. TST has an exchange price when that time comes.

It is true that Forest River has this option as we got a tech-rep gave instructions at the dealership. It is a sales feature and at least a good add on option.

Thanks for the replies.
Now, I just gotta get off my wallet and get some.
My snowblower made me mad for the last time and I went and purchased a new and bigger one. That purchase hurt a little. But, I got a good 2 months, or more, before the cover comes off.
