Airtabs look interesting.

Don't see any data as far as mpg improvements.

I'm thinking of adding these for my next cross country trip on my 30 ft TT, I tow with an F150. Looking for stabilization more than gas mileage. I get pushed from behind when a truck passes so I need to correct the steering away from the oncoming path of the passing trucks.

IMO, you'll need to tackle the stabilization issue more directly. The pushing is not exactly sway, but using an anti-sway hitch would be the place to start. Reducing aerodynamic drag may help the MPG, but the push from the side from passing trucks etc. would not change.

Another thing to try is increasing the TV and TT inflation pressures to the maximum shown on the tire sidewall. That reduces sidewall flex and reducing the sidewall flex has a number of benefits. Some folks on this site have tried it and said it helped them.

For example, if you install a modification on the nose to reduce resistance, where does all that airflow go... up, possibly, which will create a down-force = increased tongue weight.
After all, they install wings on the back of cars for exactly that purpose...
Those "wings" or spoilers on cars have little to no effect regarding downforce until speeds are above legal limits. Just for looks, nothing more.

I put the AirTabs on the rear of the truck cap when I had the 32 RBDS. Painted them to match. I did not notice any improvement in the F350 mileage by itself but when I towed the camper, I got about 1/2 mpg better on a trip from Indiana to the Truman President Museum compared to a trip from Indiana to the Dayton Air Museum. Similar trips but one eastbound and one westbound. I plan on putting the on the rear of the 33RBTS. They are relatively inexpensive.

Vortex Generators-

"Tractor or Trailer Kit, Black$220.00 Each
Mount these Airtabs™ on 4″ centers (3 per lineal foot) around the trailing edge of your tractor, trailer, RV, pickup camper shell, utility trailer, etc. to get the added vehicle handling and fuel-saving benefits of Airtab®!
This Airtab® is in black. Not the right color for your vehicle? Airtabs™ are completely paintable using standard automotive finishes.
Each Airtab® is 3.25″ wide x 4.76″ long x 1″ high.
$220 for a AirTab kit."

IF you know someone that has a 3D printer they could crank out a bunch relatively cheaply any color you'd want. You'd probably need 80.

I'm certain that I could improve my fuel efficiency by checking my tires on a more frequent basis and slowing down. Since buying my Goodyear Endurance tires with the higher speed ratings I noticed I'm nudging 70, where allowed, which is pretty much all of Texas.

I remember years back the discussion about fuel economy with the tail gate up vs down.
I could never see the difference there either .

Myth Busters did an episode on tailgate up vs down. I believe tailgate up showed better mileage.
