Trailer repairs
Trailer repairs
Replaced screen with heavy duty pet proof screen.
And added a cook
top cover.
Happy with both. Even with warranty, I doubt they would repair my own pet damage to the screen. Haha.

What is a 'heavy duty pet proof screen' is that just a tougher material than the normal screen material? Is that something that a Loews or Home Depot would have?

If it's the same as I used for my Patio Door Screen at home, it's like an elastic material that stretches if a pet runs into it, then snaps back into it's original form. Works well, just a little adjusting if the kids and/or some adults try to open doors by pushing on them instead of using the handle.

Yes, it is available at Home Depot in a roll that will replace the screen in a standard 6' patio door. I bought mine several years ago, when my dog was just a pup and decided he wanted to go through the original screen in the old "stick-n-brick". Pet-safe screen is considerably thicker than standard screening fabric, so you may have to go with a smaller diameter splining.
By the way, Jsundin, nice job on the "mods"!

I went a step further in pet proofing my doors. Got a piece of plexi at Home Depot and cut to fit the doors. Works great.

Replaced the sewer hose, and snaked it through some flexible 4 inch drain pipe to keep the crows from pecking holes in it again.

I got the thin stuff (.009" I think). It slid right into the grooves on the door. Similar to how the latch slide works. Left it just about an inch short at the top so I could bend it slightly to pop into the grooves.
