TV add to a 184BH

Completed my television add to my 184BH. I wanted to be able to easily remove the television when the trailer wasn't in use and wanted to be able to run it on battery.

So the television needed to plug into an inverter that connected to the battery. I opened up the area above the stero and located the 12v wires that were powering the stero . I spliced in a connector for my inverter and put a toggle switch in-line to allow me to turn it off. I was going to mount a power strip under the cabinets but ended up going with an in wall outlet. I think it ended up being a bit more clean. The outlet is basically an extension cord and terminates in a 3 prong plug that goes into the inverter. I was able to repurposed an old IKEA mounting bracket for a shelf and connected into the wall and the back of the television. This gives me an easy lift on and lift off setup. Obviously I have to remove the television from the wall before going mobile.

Headed out in a few weeks so we will get the true test during that trip.

I see you left the stand on the TV so you could take it outside if you wanted. Good thinking! Nice job on the mount.
