What we do for watching HDTV from the patio area is to use the pass thru storage. Our 22-inch VIZIO HDTV would fit right inside the door. Then you can close up real quick if bad weather sits in or if you have to leave the area for something. Just close the pass-thru door. Easy place to route RG TV cables to.
On our POPUP outings I usually just put a RG SPLITTER TEE in the line coming from the cable hook-up and route a second RG cable from that under the trailer and setup on a table.
We spend alot of time sitting under the awning when camping and doing our "PEOPLE WATCH" thing. These are the strangest animals (ourselves incuded) hehe... Having a TV setup in the patio area has its drawbacks however as folks will stop and watch from the road - then they usually get invited over and there goes all of my fresh made bean coffee hehe...
