Under-glow LED installed

It took me a while to find the perfect LED lights for this project. I finally found a 12v set that connects directly to the Rv batteries and it was really easy to install.

I still need to do the other side as the the light comes with 2 sets, 25ft long each, enough to cover the whole underbelly.

This is the set I purchased

Doing this is a cool mod. I'm hoping yours hold up better than the set I installed, different brand, similar specs, look identical. Cleaned corroplast thoroughly and adhesive started to release within a week. Clear packing tape is still holding. One year later whole sections failed to light where they are spliced at the factory. Now, 2 years later, of 30' it's only a 6' section the still works. I'd like to replace, but not if I only get a year or so out of them.

I hope you put a fuse between the battery and the lights. If not, fire hazard.

I use the Govee outdoor lights. I store my RV in a garage/barn and I believe the flashing lights help keep the rodents away, along with other stuff. Mine is 110 though. I've been to some camp sites that require all lights off at a specific time so its easy to just unplug. Mine lasted 2 years before 6' of 25' crapped out. It quit working at a twist around the wheel well. I think if you keep it straight as possible (new run just goes down the frame) they will last longer. I also bought some for another reason, off brand, and had several sections go out within a short period of time. All the Govee ones I've purchased have lasted (or lasting) several years. Seems cost does equal quality in this area..
