Vent Hood Install

I installed a couple of Maxxair vent hoods on my TT last year and 1 of them almost blew off on a trip, so I decided to add locknuts as well as the lock washers (overkill) why not? So... I figured I'd do an Install Video of the process.

Nice documentation.

I installed my first set using just sheet metal screws. I didn't lose the cover but noticed it was loose and did pretty much the same as you did with the nut and lock washer.

I'm not used to seeing vents mounted perpendicular to the travel direction.

Not sure what you mean... The vent covers are installed with the vents facing rear (as intended).
