Wardrobe Shelf

Since we don't hang up my shorts and t shirts I figured this would better suit my and my DW needs.
2 metal shelves and some command hooks

Great!

We were going to try that, but my DW had a different plan: My-side wardrobe for our few hanging items and a collapsible dirty clothes hamper (on its side) for her side. Happy wife, happy life.

Never thought to use command hooks. Great idea!

Being in Az, I have not had much luck with command hooks with much weight. I did the wardrobe shelves but used two 1/4" panels, one on each side, cut to fit the cabinet. I screwed shelf supports where needed to each side. Put the panels in place, and then added tight fitting shelves which keeps everything in place. I did tack down the shelves. No attachment to the walls.

I don't bring anything camping that needs hangers. Being deep I keep items not used often in the rear and shirts, pants etc on the front half of the shelves.

Not sure how the command hooks are going to work, the bumps and weight might be too much for them.
But never fear, I have a plan B if they don't hold.
So if you see another post in a couple months, don't be surprised. LOL

We put a hanging shoe rack thingy to hold folded clothes, socks, etc. (Studio 3B™ 10-Shelf Hanging Shoe Organizer in Grey). Works pretty well and takes up only 1/3 of the closet. After three weeks use it is showing stress and we are looking for a better quality one to replace it.
