Long time lurker, first time posting.
I've been thinking about this for awhile, but credit BigJohnD for actually giving me the initiative to do it. I didn't have the materials but $5.96 at a local Lowes, and...voila! Although I'm very mechanically inclined, this was not rocket science and anyone that can use a screwdriver can easily accomplish this useful mod.
