Water Filters for well water with lots of iron
Dont want to put a lot of money into this as we would only need it twice a year.
Campground is well water with a lot of iron. I tried the .Camco 40043 TastePURE RV/Marine Water Filter with Flexible Hose Protector | Protects Against Bacteria | Reduces Bad Taste, Odors, Chlorine and Sediment in Drinking Water.
By the end of the 4 night stay, the blue filter had a lot of rust colored streaks running down the side of the filter. Even left 2 rus colored streaks in my toilet bowel.
Was looking at trying to get filters from Home Depot or Lowes possibly like these:
2 Stage Whole House Water Filtration System for Sediment, Rust, CTO with AP110 & AP117 Comparable Cartridges, 3/4" Ports
Anyone have good recommendations?
