White / Cork board

Did this last year and it is so handy. Went and picked up a Cork Board / White Board combination and mounted it between the hall way window and door. Can hang up campground papers, write on the white board, Love this mod!

When I want to hang stuff, I used those 3M Command sticky tapes. They hold great and they're completely removable. Take a little rubbing alcohol and wipe the area first to get a good contact.

It came with brackets which get screwed to the wall, and it's reinforced with double stick tape.

I don't think white-out would work well on the white board.

Love it, Karl!!! And still enough room beneath to put a hook, or two, for some lightweight jackets.

Love the idea as well. Always need a spot to leave a message or a reminder to do something.

We have been suggesting to folks to use the spring wing toggle bolts or the Moly bolts for anchors for hanging things that have weight to them. The 1/4-inch thick walls dont offer much weight handling. This chalkboard/corkboard might not be to heavy to require something like this and just sticky tape or velcro might work just fine . If you are worried about it being too heavy then try this idea. The MOLY bolts probably would be the best choice.
