White Hawk A/C Vent Modified
I noticed my ceiling A/C vent in the front bedroom didn't have much air flow in comparison to the living area vents. Upon closer inspection, the ceiling slopes downward and the ducting is a bit narrower up front.
To increase the air flow, I removed the four screws holding the vent louvers in. The ducting is very skinny up there and there wasn't any way to make it wider. So, I took the Roto-Zip and carved out a portion of the side of the vent itself. You can see it through louvers. This about doubled the air flow!
Cost: Nothing
