White Hawk Bath Faucet Upgrade
As you may know, the bathroom sink in the White Hawk (Model 24 RBS) has a faucet that is inadequate. Very hard to even wash your hands, as the faucet is too close to the sink bowls edge. Today, I upgraded the faucet to a residential style faucet that I picked up at my Home Center.
The price of the faucet was about $59. It is made for a 3-hole set-up, but since the sink stopper in this Jayco is not connected to the faucet...only 2-holes are necessary. (that's the way these Jayco's come)
Very simple upgrade, as you don't really even need any tools. All fittings are connected and tightened by hand.

Thanks! Keep meaning to do this. With all of your mods, maybe I should just bring my trailer down to Grand Forks ;-)

I spent today creating a laundry chute in the bedroom.

That new faucet is on my list of items to upgrade in my Whitehawk. Thanks for the nice picture and detail!

Prior AF from the 80's. Was one of the better things I ever did.

How did you connect the lines? You said everything was hand tightened [no tools] but the fittings on house faucets are different than in the TT.

I replaced both the shower head and bathroom sink faucet after our first trip. Took about 10 minutes total. Simple disconnect old and connect new. Like OP said, hand tight and it's finished. Plastic fittings on lines under sink have little ears for hand tightening. Just like the ones in my home.

Ok, finally did it! A little effort/patience required, due to a tight spot under the sink (there's a duct that was a pain to work around).
But the result was good... We had to get a brushed nickel one, to match the kitchen of course

As Pappy said, the home and RV faucets have same size threads. Simply take them off and they should fit the home style faucet. This is the second or third trailer I've done this to...all were easy transition. Only tool you may need is a pliers if the fittings are on too tight to get off in the RV.

Good looking faucet. So far our bathroom one is working fine. Will you get the single handle one for the kitchen, if you get one or a double handle to match with the bathroom? I really like the single handle ones, but wonder if they are practical for a FW.

Probably two-handle, but depends on what looks good and isn't too pricey.

I just upgraded mine yesterday to a small laundry type faucet. It has a hose connection on the spout so I can hook up the black tank wand to it. I haven't field tested it yet but it would be nice to not have to run a second hose off a splitter and drag it through the trailer.
It almost has the opposite problem though. The spout is so long it reaches about 2/3 across the sink.

I would try to match with the same finish as the bath faucet. I like the two handle myself. Either would work fine.

This is something I also plan on doing. Our faucet is so short that you can barely get your hands in the water. It also splashes all over the counter. Did you also have that problem, and did it help?
