White Hawk TV Wall Mount Upgrade

The 26" LED TV is wall mounted near the bathroom door above the dinette seat. It doesn't tilt and its mounted high on the wall so when you sit down the screen is very dark.
I bought a swivel/tilt swing arm mount from Camping World and remounted the TV. Now it can be put in any position and it really enhances the picture and viewing experience.

Don't have the same problem with our TV that is located above the fireplace at the rear of the TT, but installed a swing arm mount in the bedroom to hang a 19" TV. Guess I cheaped out and bought a swing arm that does not have a lock down feature to secure the TV during transit. So far I have just popped the tv off and placed on the bed when we are on the road. Very easy to mount again when we stop but is a pain to reconnect the cables.

Any suggestions on how to secure a swing mount like mine?

I've seen others that mounted straps to the wall. No way to cinch a strap around the arms while it's folded up?

i would like to build a tv cabinet in the bedroom [ultra lite 24T]. there is a sticker on the wall indicating where the swivel mount should be screwed but since i wont be using it i would like to know where the structural members are.could use a stud finder but im still worried about wiring. does anyone know how the walls are constucted? dont want to cut a large hole in the wall to find out. darrell
