x17z tv mount bracket

Can't for the life of me find the thread that had the user showing how they mounted the tv to a wall mount over the fridge. I plan on doing this in the morning and really wanted to see the pics they posted.

I mounted my TV mount on the small hard board that is the end of the cupboards above the table. I did not want to mount it to the outside wall or the bathroom wall.

That's my plan as well.
The radio is there.. how did you attached the mount? Did you need to remove the radio? Is there anything solid enough to mount to back there or did you need to brace it?

would you happen to have pics of the installation process?

I screwed right into the "wood". I have had the mount installed over 2 years, tow with the TV on the mount, and haven't had a problem. I know I took pictures when I installed it. I lost some pictures when I had problems with a computer.

I did not find the pictures of the tv mount being installed. I did find a picture of what is behind the radio. Hope this helps.

did you take the radio out when you mounted the tv? from the empty space I see on the fridge side, I don't think there is any need to worry about the mount screws impacting anything important......

It is probably very easy to ADD a 3/4-inch thick wood piece that could be attached to the outside of the side wood frame to give you plenty of support to attach your TV arm too. You would use wood stain to make the added board the same decor color.

This is how alot of people attach something like this to the outside wall where the thin 1/4 plyboard is. They mount a 24"x24" 3/4-inch thick board up first then attach the TV arm to that.

Should be plenty of posts on how this is done.

GOTO Google Search and type in "mounting TV arm to RV walls" and when it loads up select GOOGLE IMAGES to the left. you will see a whole bunch of photos all in one spot on the different posts it found. Click on the photo you want more info about and it will switch you to the write-up. I saw several there about mounting to the same area you talking about.

I removed the radio to make sure there wouldn't be any thing damaged when I installed the tv mount. I put the radio back and installed the tv mount when it arrived in the mail.

Hey Tracy, based on your photo.. I mounted the bracket on blind faith. Everything is solid and looks great. Thanks for the input.
