Bon Echo Provincial Park, Ontario Canada

Just wrapped up our 9 night camping trip to Bon Echo Provincial Park. This was our first outing of the season. We had rain one night only, otherwise it was glorious weather, and not bad for bugs. Many more memories made at this park.

Instead of me filling this thread with photos, I'll simply link to the Photo Album I created. Hope you enjoy the photos

I would highly recommend this park to any camper. Take note that there is no CG Store on the grounds, you need to travel about 8k to a local Marina for Ice and any other incidentals you may need.

This park offers two boat tours on rotating days of the week.
1 - Pontoon boat ride around the lake to see the park, and view the pictographs and get up close to Mazinaw rock.
2 - Pontoon boat ride across the lake to the Narrows where you start the trail hike up Mazinaw rock and around the various lookouts up top.
3 - Visitor center, Historical sites, info sessions and lots of other stuff for kids.
4 - numerous trails for all types of Hiking experience.
5 - Kayak, Canoe and Paddle Boat rentals, also several boat launches.
6 - Nice beaches, and one really decent dog beach.
6 - just a great park with lots of sites to choose from.

Welcome to Bon Echo Provincial Park

Great pics! I haven't been to "the Mazinaw" in a few years but it is always a treat to go there. Did you stop for poutine at Kaladar on the way home?

No Poutine, but we stopped on the corner to pick up BlueBerries, Blueberry Pie, and some tarts. And did support the chip truck by getting a couple of small fries, which were huge.
