Camping last year in the pop up

When we first reentered camping we bought a Jay Flight pop up. We still have this unit even though we bought our TT. We are giving it to my son and daughter in law it will be there first camper.

Some of my best camping memories were in a popup. A great way to take the kids then because they were learning and experiencing so many different and fun things.

Now they are glued to Gameboy's and such. and electronic toys. We would camp in state parks that had all kinds of day learning opportunities about wildlife and geology. At night they had square dancing lessons and they were excited about all of it.

Our popup was nothing but a tent on wheels but we had some great times.

We have been camping for 36+ years. We had 3 pop-ups and 3 travel trailers.

In 1984, we purchased our 2nd pop-up a brand new Rockwood and used it for 21 years. It also helped that we stored it inside when not is use. I miss our Rockwood, but as we are getting older, we also love our Jayco Eagle with the comforts of home.

Some of our best years were in our pop-ups.
