You do have fantastic camping food! I think I'm going to have to step it up for Memorial Day weekend! We will still have to do our traditional chili (in the crockpot), but maybe something more creative than hot dogs and hamburgers.

Thanks for the compliment!

I have to be honest though. That was a traditional camping trip. My brother and I took our Dad out to kick start the camping season so I kind of went all out as you can see. lol

You have no idea. They are awesome. I get them from my butcher and they're marinated in something delicious!

I lived in Wading River for a year and there are 3 things I miss terribly about long Island. 1) the corn 2) the Butchers 3) the bagel shops. I think I need to plan a camping trip back out there!

Well, if you lived in Wading River and miss the butchers then I have to tell you that all the meat and kabobs in the pictures are from Cow Palace. Great stuff.

Next weekend I'm heading to Wildwood in Baiting Hollow, not far from Wading River.

I took a stroll through the campground after a nasty summer storm. This used to be an EZ up tent and a decent size sleeping tent with a tarp under it.

Riding my bike last May at the State Park in Montauk Long Island. There's a tiny strip of boardwalk there.

My sewer connection the morning after a pounding rain storm. I guess it's a water tight seal!

Our trailer cable came loose and was dragging for who knows how long. Scary stuff!

The whole family made it out for Father's Day weekend. 13 of us split between the hybrid and my tent.

Taking both pups out for their first camping trip ever!

Why have one flag on a pole when you can have FOUR!

The view from my picnic table. The ocean is straight ahead up the sand path you see. I have the same site this summer too!

Some guy caught this on the beach. No one in his family had a camera so I snapped some pics and texted him.

The deer in this campground aren't bothered by humans much.

I took my pup for an early morning stroll at the campground. I absolutely LOVE this shot.

The new addition the the family. My brother's new truck and 28DSBH.

Making myself a bacon cheese dog over an open fire.

The first trip for my brother taking the 28DSBH out. Our 17z is behind me in the picture. Unfortunately, we got evacuated the very next day because Hurricane Sandy was coming and that ended our camping season. Less then three months till it opens up though!

I love all these pics! I do also have to say again that you eat very well on these trips! I hope one of these posts won't reveal that you're eating deer!! I say that because of all the cute deer pics! Lol!

I appreciate all the compliments so far. I'm just itching to get out there again!

Just one thing though. I mean no offense to anyone, but can you please refrain from posting your pics in this thread. I'd like to keep it pics of my trips solely. Thanks!
