Finally got a couple pics!
Finally got a couple pics of the new Eagle 266RKS along with the (new to me since June) 2011 F-150 Super-Crew w/3.5L Eco-boost & H.D. Towing package. Still too much snow in Grand Rapids to take it out (or even hook it up), but you get the idea.
Come on spring!

I am jealous. At least you can get to your trailer to take pictures with the TV.
Mine is still buried in about 4 feet of snow in the backyard. I can take a picture of it, but the TV will stay in the driveway.
Good looking set up!!

Just have to pray to the sun gods for warm temps and no more snow, then we are off.

Looks great Brownie. Oh if you haven't heard already, we are suppose to get 3"-7" of new snow in the next 12 hours.

Nice truck...and trailer. Really like those F150's with the Ecoboost and factory tow mirrors. Sharp setup.

Very nice set up! Looks like a matched set with perfect color co-ordination! Still got some time before the snow's gone, but we're on the downhill side of this winter, I think. We're getting 4-6" tonight; a mere dusting!

Can't say how it tows on the highway, since I took back roads home from the dealer. All went well, though. Except for the sway bar moaning like crazy, couldn't even tell I was towing it. As you can see, too much snow for me to pull it out of storage. I did manage to get the license plate put on the trailer today. Snow was melting like crazy! Good news: the downspouts work great! Bad new: they dripped water all over me while I was doing it. Good news: tomorrow's rain should melt a lot of the remaining snow . . . can our shake-down outing be far off? Bad news: It's suppose to turn cold again this weekend and remain in the low 20's for the next week. Oh well!
Thanks for the nice comments, everyone. Happy camping when you get the chance!

Love the perfect color match. In the mean time shop on-line or in stores for some fun stuff to load in the TT as you picture yourself around the camsite. Thanks for sharing.

x2 on both! I've been looking pretty hard for the same setup in a used F150 with the HD trailer setup and no go so far. Tough to find around here anyway, so great job!

Your setup will tow nicely on the highway, mine does. Just wish the mileage was better but with that big box behind us it is understandable.
What type of WDH are you using?
Hopefully all this snow will be gone in a month and we will be string up camp.

Dan222,
I didn't need a WDH for my old rig (an 18' ultra-lite pulled by a Ford Ranger "Edge") and didn't know a whole lot about them, so I went with the dealer's recommendation. It's a Husky, and I believe the model # is 30849. Instruction manual (yes, I'm one of those guys that actually reads them) rates it at 801-1200 lbs. tongue weight, and 12,000 lbs. MGTW. I should be about in the middle of both, on the trailer/TV are fully loaded. Seemed to work pretty well on the surface streets during the drive home from the dealership. But it sure did a lot of squeaking & moaning. Reading through a lot of the other threads, sounds like I need to lube up all three balls, and maybe loosen the tension on the friction sway control just a tad. Look forward to experimenting! Also looking forward to the snow being GONE!
Safe Camping!
