First Trip to Florida w/the WhiteHawk

We headed down to Florida to visit Daughter & Granddaughters. Had a great time, Weather was good most of time. Really enjoyed the 27DSRL WH.

We stayed at Blue Spring SP. Saw over 400 Manatees in the Spring

Nice, my aunt and uncle live over in Deltona. I love Florida in the winter. We usually go every February. With a newborn son this year we won't be making the 15 hour drive. I couldn't live in Florida year round... but from November through March its a beautiful place to inhabit!!!

Nice campground and a very nice unit. I have a sister that lives in Deltona and when I still had my parents they lived in Orange City. I hope you enjoy your time there.

Sigh... I'm jealous. Every February my parents rent a place down outside of Tampa. We usually take an extended RV trip and spend a couple days in Savannah on the way down, a week nearby them and a couple days in Charleston on the way home.

I have a new position at work and a 7 week old baby boy laying next to me right now. We decided against the 1000 mile drive with a newborn this year. Its 22 degrees and windy today. While I am grateful for the new position and especially a healthy baby boy... I still miss Florida in February...

Cool

Well, we are missing Florida already. Back home and under a Winter Storm Warning with Snow & Ice tonight. It was a great site and we really enjoyed the Area. As Spoon059 said, that 1000 mile drive was long and we would not have tried it with a baby (or our dogs).
Will be heading back in the Fall to stay out of the Hot weather. After that I could see us as Snow Birds & spending entire Winters down in FLA

That looks like a nice place and nice camper. We are picking up our 2014 27DSRL on Saturday. We are really looking forward to getting our Jayco!
