First Trip with the New Jayco

Just traded my Outback in for a 2015 Jayco 32RLDS in March. Finally got a good weekend to go (April 17-19). Just a short trip to Jubilee SP, in central Illinois, but the weather was great! 80 degrees on Saturday and the rain started in just as I was parking it back in storage on Sunday!

No problems, but that LED light strip is BRIGHT! And the amber porch light is not there any more. I'm thinking of putting a dimmer switch in place of the ON/OFF for the light strip.

The biggest frustration was trying to find everything. I had the Outback for 8 seasons and I knew exactly where everything was. Even though I gave thought to placement in the Jayco, some stuff stayed hidden for awhile! LOL!

What Outback did you have? We almost bought the 250TRS but opted for the lighter jayco.

I'm so envious of the colorful state map in your signature! Best of luck filling up the final states in that sweet new rig!

I had a 2006 29BHS. With no kids in the house any more, I didn't need the bunks. I didn't have any problems with the Outback, and looked at them first, but they didn't seem to have a floor plan I liked.

If you ever get that dimmer installed, would you post a write-up (with pics of course)? I know I'm one of many here who hold the same opinion about that LED strip being SO bright.
