Gull Lake, CA Camping Trip

This was our last camping trip of the year, weekend of the Oct 7th. Now I get to winterize

We stayed at the Golden Pine RV Park within a 2 minute walk to Gull Lake. Such a great RV Park and beautiful setting to boot.

We spend our summers at Golden Pine (space A). We left for home on Oct.
3rd, just before it snowed. It's a great place to spend the summer & Dennis does a great job as Manager. We can't wait until June 2012 so we can go back for 4 months. Here are a few pictures.

Bounder, we just missed you there, maybe next summer we will catch you there.

We are hoping to plan a few more days there next summer and not just a weekend. We usually go to the Silver Lake RV Park but one of the guys I work with stayed in space 10 with his wife and they used his father-in-laws 5th wheel a couple weeks before we were there and he told us how they really enjoyed the place and how close it was to the lake so we wanted to try it out. Now we are hooked!

Was the guys name Mark? (maybe Kevin? he had the same name as one of my brother n laws). I met him, his wife & their dog.
Silver Lake RV Park is crowded.
Golden Pine is the best kept secret in June Lake.

Throughout the summer there were community campfires on the weekends.
Dennis & I played guitar & ukulele & had group sing alongs. It was one of the best summers we have ever had.
