Hooked up and ready for the weekend.

Hooked up and ready to head out for the weekend at Disney's Wilderness Campground tomorrow for the weekend. Just need to disconnect the power, pull the wheel chokes and we are off!

I had no idea Disney had a campground. I had to look it up after readings this post. I have always wished that Disneyland would do the same out west here. We always stay at one of two local Anaheim campgrounds, which are nothing like what you have out in Florida. So jealous. Very cool. Enjoy.

Hi folks,
Yea that old Ford has done me well. 222K miles and going string. I take pretty good care of it and am not as hard on it these days. I have no problem running 65 with it connected.

Fort wilderness was nice. We stayed in a standard "full hookup site" and it was tight but nice. Your not on top of anyone and a full canopy of trees keeps the heat down.
Our spot was a bit rough to back into due to my rig size and a couple of well placed trees but I got it done.

Next trip will be a premium or preferred lot, they looked really nice.

The dog park was clean and good for a run for the pups, not too big but decent.
We took the boat to the Wilderness Lodge and found a great pool bar over there
Fireworks each night is nice and I do recommend either bringing or renting a golf cart to get around, the place is huge.

We had a great time there a few summers ago. Very clean and the boat parade/light show was pretty cool too.

I will be at Ft. Wilderness for Christmas this year. It will be my first time and I'm looking forward to it, other than the cost. But I have been told everyone needs to experience it at least once. We arrive on 12-19 and depart on 12-26. With the grandchildren in an adjacent site it will be fun.
