Maiden Voyage in our Jayco 197 Sport

Moved up from a pop up to our "new to us" 2009 JayFeather 197 Sport. We love it! This was at Burns Run West in Oklahoma (Lake Texoma). Quite a bit different than our 8ft pop-up!

Yeah, no more finger tucks or packing up wet canvas. I am glad your trip was a success. Enjoy your new purchase and happy camping.

Enjoy! We just bought a "new to us" 2008 197 this spring. Nifty little trailers, indeed. Ours was like new, had hardly been used or towed. Check the four long skinny bolts that hold the a/c unit to the roof. Two of mine were way, way loose and water would get in when it rained.

I made a little mod to access the space under the "sofa". https://www.jaycoowners.com/showthread.php?t=2426

I also added a second battery. https://www.jaycoowners.com/showthread.php?t=2516

I am going to look into the water pump silencing mod as well, as mine sounds like a Jacobs brake on a semi. https://www.jaycoowners.com/showthread.php?t=1492

Enjoy your new Jayco. It's a nice looking trailer and a nice concrete parking pad and patio for the site.

Thanks all! We have really been enjoying it. Well, until the temps hit 112.... Lol hopefully this heat will break soon and we can get back out there!
