Nice unit ingie. We had a Palimino S17 hybrid before we bought our 228 this year. I enjoyed the tent ends for the 5 years we owned it. Wished we would have bought he jayco hybrid way back, our Forest River product paled in comparison to our new jayco in the quality department. I miss laying in bed listening to the rain on the tent ends, don't miss having to dry them off after. Lol

really nice of the dealer to get a custom decal made up for your TT. How does the Liberty do pulling it?

It's ok on the flat roads but struggles a bit up hills. My next investment will be a TV with more power and a longer wheelbase but the Liberty will do for now. As for the decal, we thought it was a nice touch too. I was surprised to see it on there when we picked it up.

Do you use a metal rod with a hook on one end to open and close it? Can you adjust the supports independently to pitch a corner down so the rain runs off? Do the supports unhook from the bracket at the bottom of the trailer so you can use it carport style? Will it work if your battery is dead and you have no shore power?
If you answered yes to all these questions, then you have what I refer to as an "old school awning". "Old school" is a term that generally means something that is original or the way something was done in the beginning.
