New Jay Feather 23RLSW

Just brought it home this week, and now we'll spend a couple of months getting it set up for our first outings in late April or early May.

Roger

P.S. The pic in my signature is my 'old' 2014 SLX 165RB, not the new TT.

Congratulations on the new model. Looks like you have really enjoyed your Jayco.

Post some more photos if you get a chance.

Thanks! I will post more pix once I get it fairly level. My driveway has a nasty slope to it, and I don't want to extend the slideout until I can do a better job.

We loved our first TT season with the 165RB, and with my retirement in Sept. we decided to take the plunge and get a bigger unit with some actual living space. Now there's some traveling in our future.

Roger

I am living vicariously through you and the others on this forum. My unit is due the first of March and I have never even seen my model, in person or in photos. I guess you could call it a huge leap of faith that it will be everything I hope for.

Thanks for sharing and I look forward to seeing more of your unit.

Happy trails!

I bet you can't believe what a difference 7 more feet makes.

You got that right! But not only is it 7' longer, it's also a foot wider AND it has a very nice slideout for the dinette.

Indeed. I don't think I can even guess at how many nice campgrounds we have nearby. We joined Thousand Trails, and there are something like 4 of those within an hour's drive. Since we're retired, that makes it easy to just pack up and go when we feel like it. Living the life!

BTW, here's a shot of a recent campsite with our 'old' 165 RB.

And here's a shot of my 23RLSW TT and my TV in the driveway today, after the 30" of snow we got over the weekend.

Good thing it's only 56 days until spring!

So are we, so are we. DW and I were out in it yesterday (65 degrees and sunny), planning where and how we'll store stuff. Can't wait!

Busy planning trips, too.

Roger

Enjoying ours too! This is ours this last weekend in Pensacola at Big Lagoon SP, before the weather blew in with rain and temperatures down to the 30s had a great visit still!
