New to this.

Hi, I’m new to this forum and soon to be a new owner. We just purchased a Jay Sport 12sc, we will pick it up this spring. My TV is a 2017 Jeep JKU. I would like to inquire what new owners should buy first and must haves. We will be camping mostly at state parks in VT. These campgrounds don’t have hookups and I’m curious if the battery will last for lights and the fan for a long weekend? Thoughts?

Thanks.

Congrats on the new memory maker and, welcome to JOF. Without hookups, you’d want as much battery storage as you can get. The dealers install batteries so work with them to install a group27 deep cycle at a minimum. If the budget allows, a couple LiFeP04 lithium batteries will serve you well. Head on over to YouTube and watch a bunch of videos on the topic. While you’re there, you may develop an appetite for solar so be warned
