Our 2012 Jayflight 32BHDS
We love this model! I couldn't ask for anything more...except maybe for better gas mileage while pulling this big hunk of metal!

Oh, and the awning is adjustable....

The awning angle is one of those things you don't think about until it's too late. This location (Mears S.P., MI) has been the sunniest, so far, out of 6 trips this year. We're going out again Labor Day weekend & hopefully we'll have it figured out!

Kim, I lowered our awning two spaces on both sides and just leave it there all the time.

I promise we will adjust it before our trip next weekend. I haven't even looked at the manual. It must roll up in new position with no problem?

No problem as long as both sides are adjusted the same. Ours has been on the middle setting for 19 months now.

I am curious as to what kind of weight are you pulling in realistic terms. Wife, kids, toys, and all the normal stuff we all take when we go camping. I love your 32BHDS and think that it would meet my families needs/wants. Just wondering if my TV could handle it. So what is your estimate on your weight.

We have our awing tilted down two spots more on one side and it still closes fine. I think the manual says you can go up to 3 clicks different from one side to another. I like a bit of slant on mine after seeing them crushed at the beach several times haha.

I always keep both sides down on the lowest angle. Never had a problem with rain pooling up. There's a spring loaded feature that automatically dumps if that were to happen. I'd rather not trust it though. Rolls up fine and travels fine.
We've pulled ours to virgina beach and more recently to Sleeping Bear in the northern part of lower MI.

Just a little note concerning the awnings. When I went to open mine this weekend, it stuck on one side. I just had it out 2 weeks ago. Anyways, the hydraulic arm had stuck. I went across the street to the dealer. He said to spray some slide-out lube on it. He said that if by chance it happens again, stop and lube it. Otherwise, it will cause issues with the rest of the awning parts. Parts alone to fix that possible damage he said was around $850. So, be careful! BTW, the slide-out lube worked fine. He said no wd40 as it is too thin and doesn't last.
