Weekend getaway by the river!

We lucked out that the spot next to us wasn't booked so we have an unobstructed view of the river and dock!

For some reason I couldn't post two pictures in my OP. So here's the second one.

Too bad they aren't towing with a van!!!

Looks like a great spot. We are headed out in 8 days for the lake. We will be spending 9 nights over the 4th of July holiday lakefront. In-laws and 4 groups of friends and their friends (about 12 campers total) will be down there. Should be a BLAST, but I am jealous you are out already!

Beautiful spot charliebravo! If you don't mind my asking, what park is that located in?

Now THAT sounds like fun! I can't wait for our first extended trip. We'll be spending 3 nights on my parents property over the July 4th holiday but a full week off work with friends and family sounds like heaven!

Nice site CB. We're doing our first extended trip in Lake George for the last week of july. Going with the out-laws. Should be interesting.

It was at a little Park called River Shade in Seguin. About an hour from home...it was our first real outing with the rig so we wanted someplace close. Nothing to write home about but it was quiet and perfect for our first shakedown!

Did I mention that I get ZERO cell phone coverage on my personal phone or my work phone? They have WI-FI at the park, but it is pretty poor coverage. Doubt I will even be able to check my work emails for 9 days...

Terrible...

We normally take a 2 week vacation to Florida every February but this is the first long trip in the new camper. 7 feet longer trailer, bump out, separate bed room for the 2 year old, separate bed room for mommy and daddy... can't wait!

Sweet Jesus you lucky fool. We had to resort to the tried and true long highway drive to get our 2 year old to fall asleep last night.

The open bunk gives her way too much freedom for her own good (and our sanity).

Sounds like you'll have the PERFECT trip!
