10 RK battery not charging

We are very new to travel trailers, and on our first boondocking trip, we arrived at the site to find our battery didn't charge as we drove. It had become depleted because, we were told by the service dept at the dealership, we let it sit for a couple of weeks without disconnecting the battery. We aren't really sure what to look for and have looked online extensively for help, but most posts are discussing larger trailers. Can anyone point us in the right direction?

The propane/co2 detector will kill a battery that is not on a maintainer in that time frame. You should look at installing a battery disconnect or disconnecting a battery cable, usually the negative, when in storage.

A vehicle may provide a small amount of charging when in tow but don't count on much. Your battery may have already been damaged to some extent. It will probably come back to life but it's life will be negatively affected.

Is the fuse or relay in place in the fuse box under the hood for the hotwire?

Wow, the dealer told us the battery would charge during the tow. Thank you! Our next stop is an electrical site, so hopefully we can see if the battery can charge up.

We actually don't see a fuse between the battery and what we are assuming is the converter set up that sits between the battery and the wires going into the trailer. Is that where we should look? There are no breakers blown or fuses tripped in the panel inside the trailer.
