154BH vs. 184BH
Wife and I are debating between these 2. It is just her and I and we will be pulling it with a Toyota 4 Runner so space and pulling is no problem. Cannot decide on which floor plan or which one is better. Only thing I like more on the 154 is the area for the TV rather than having to set it on the counter in the 184. Anyone chime in about pro's and con's about either model? Thanks in advance!

because of the difference in indoor size and small price difference, we chose the 184.
there is only two of us and the top bunk makes for good storage.

We just got our 2015 154BH Baja Edition and we enjoy it so much. Yea they both have there pros and cons. Love the bunks for our 2 1/2 year old and top bunks is great for storing things. The floor plan is great for us, the 184 didn't thrill us.. But the con on the 154 is the table bed, a little annoying dropping it down each night, but we are ok with it. the 154 does have a nice place for the TV unlike the 184. It is a small TT but what do you expect. What ever you get im sure you will enjoy the ride!

+1 for the 184
Since the 184 is a bit larger you have more storage space. We use the bunks for storage when not in use which is a great option.
My 184BH must be a bit different as my antenna and 12v outlet are on the wall by the window by the couch. We were able to hang a TV on the wall and screwed into the brace used to hold the top bunk. I have seen other 184BHs that have the antenna and 12v on the counter.

We have a 2014 154 BH. We use the bunks and they are great for storage during the day. Got rid of the folding legs on the table and installed a post that allows it to swivel or will pop out when you want it for a berth. Just finished a month away and 3000 miles with no complaints!

We have the same debate here: 154BH vs 184BH. We are a family of 4. We do like the extra space in the 184BH but since I'll be towing with a minivan (3500 lbs capacity) I guess I'll be safer with 154BH... What do you think?

We have two little boys and decided the 184BH was the better fit. Even with that extra space it can get a bit crowded. We bought a TV/DVD combo that sits on the counter. It doesn't take up a whole lot of space hasn't caused any issues.

We love our 184BH. The TV problem isn't really an issue with sitting it on the counter. We can put it away pretty easy.

Very nice TV solution for the 184BH! Love it!
If someone could share experience towing the 184BH and 154BH with a minivan, I would like to read your comments. We do some 500-600 miles trips in the summer, so towability is a concern for us. Thank you!

If you minivan's engine is anywhere near 175 HP I would think you'll be fine. My Ram has the smaller engine and towing is great. Also I take into account that the motor has over 170k miles on it so the actual HP is less than when it was new.
I have an old 15" LCD TV that I've been using in mine, but it has no digital tuner so I have to always tote that box with it also, which sucks because the TV has a 12V input in addition to AC power. I think an under the counter TV is a great idea!
Is there a mount that fits nicely above the counter in our kitchens? I found this but not sure if it latches for travel:

I also mounted a 24" tv on the wall in the same spot as xkuzme1. We used the iPod to watch movies.

I pull my 184 with a Jeep Wrangler (2008 Unlimited) with a 3.8 liter V6. I pulled it straight over the Rockies at 11,000 feet. Preformed flawlessly!

Thanks for the replies! It seems that our Odyssey will work just fine with these. We finaly went with the 154BH to play it safe and love the floorplan too. Can't wait to have it next week! ...but will have to wait until spring to go camping, snow is comming real soon here! Plenty of time to plan next year upcoming trips!

We did about 6 trips without WDH. There was a slight squat in the rear but it handled just fine. I just recently installed a lightweight WDH from reese. It drives the same but completely eliminated the squat in the rear. It's more of a pain to hook up but i think it was worth it. Congrats on the purchase!
