15K For Used 2012 x17z

I just posted our x17z on our local Craigs List. I posted some pics of the unit and also the floorplan. I also included a video walkthrough I found online.

Does 15K sound like a reasonable price to ask? I am also inclusing our set of the Super High Wind Pop Up Gizmos.

It's so hard to price newer used RVs because you can buy new for not much more and get the factory warranty. We want to upgrade our 2012 JayFlight 26BH, from everything I see it's worth about ~$15k and I would sell for that but a new 2013 optioned like mine sells around here for not much more than $18k so someone looking for a 26bh is likely buying new before mine. Or you can get a new bare bones unit for $16. Ask yourself what is yours worth new and is there enough difference between that and what you are prepared to take?

It seems around here 2010 and older is when the price gets down around $10k. At this price well kept used units are selling but I am not prepared to take that kind of hit. We have come to the conclusion that we just need to wait a bit longer or trade in at the dealer...but again to trade I was offered $11k to get the new trailer at the price I want and I am just not prepared to take that hit for a toy.

There's one in Ohio listed for $12,900; and one in Mass listed for $12,500.

If you can sell it for what you're asking, you're doing good.

Well, there's always room to negotiate. If you start too low you're in trouble.

Eitherway, let us know how it turns out. I for one, but think there are others too, who are on the sidelines now but want to upgrade.

I think its good place to start, I know when I researched before we bought ours, east/west coast prices are higher than they are here.
Did a quick search and found a couple 2011's at dealers for $14000 and one at $15,500, all used. Given your unit is a year newer, it sounds fair.

cm11599ps-- You can always check the " Kelly Blue Book" site for realistic pricing of your unit. Larry
