Is there any way to move the mounting points up on the wall? We have that type of blind in our Outback, I'll look at the setup and how it's done.

My 100 watt solar panel kit came in, I ordered a 30 amp controller to have room to add more panels. Our first boon docking trip will be mid October.

I got the panel installed and the wiring down through the interior wall under the bed. I removed the vent pipe cap and dropped a string with a washer as a weight down along side of the vent stack, it made it to the floor on the first try. I notched the vent cover and sealed it all back with dicor, now to the inside.

I found another part of our litter Jayco that needs to be updated, we were camping in north Georgia last weekend, my wife noticed the hot water was way too hot. I shut down the heater and waited till it cooled, I tried to light the pilot and found it wouldn't stay lit. I ordered a pilot assembly and installed it with the same results, I ordered a new control valve and installed it today. The water heater now works as normal. I haven't took the old valve apart yet but my guess is the valve is stuck open, I figure 15 years is a good life for a water heater valve.

Hi there I just purchased a 2009 Jay Feather. Can you please tell me what the hitch weight of yours is?

With Thanks

If I’m pulling ours with my truck I just use a standard 2” draw bar, with he aspen I add the stabilizer bars , it doesn’t have to have them but they cut down sway on the interstate.

Sorry I forgot to answer directly, tongue weight should be no more than 350-400 going by the 10-15% rule.

Thanks

It would seem that the hitch weight (as quoted by Jayco) slightly exceeds the 15% mark. Which is why it comes with the stabilizers. I drove it home from the sellers farm, about an hour from the city. My maiden voyage if you will! All good, even with a breeze going across the highway, no dancing etc. Handled well I thought. I'm off out of town north of Winnipeg about an hour and a half for the first over night trip.

Also, when hooking up the brake controller I had some issues. Is it okay to share the story? Maybe include a few pics. Not quite sure how to proceed.

With Thanks

Sure you can. Include the brand and model of your controller also. It may help with answers.

You can post anything here as far as I'm concerned, pictures are always a plus.
