195RB wall air vs fridge

Hi all,
I want to purchase a 195RB w/Baja. I read an old thread about 2-3 years old about wall air conditioner causing airflow problem with fridge causing fridge not to stay cold if wall a/c was running.

Several posts from 2014 but nothing since. Was this issue corrected? Anyone experience this?

Thanks in advance for any info.

used our 195rb (not Baja) for three weeks total and did not have any interactions that I noticed. The intakes and outflow ports are well apart and not sure how there would be a problem on the 2017 model we got last August, 2016.

Checked, AC pulls in from roof and vents out side. About 3 feet below is top vent for fridge. Even if wind is odd direction don't see how they would interact.

We have a 2013 185RB and have never had a problem like that. Our AC and fridg are on the same side of the camper. I really don't see how the AC would cause problems with the refrigerator cooling.

As others have stated this doesn't seem to be a problem. Haven't had any difficulty with keeping the fridge cool while running the side-mounted A/C in our 195RB Baja. We spend a couple of weeks each season in the southwest where the A/C is used a fair amount. I did install a temperature controlled vent fan in the top fridge vent to improve air flow. Without the fan it doesn't exhaust the heat very well and it's harder to cool the fridge down or keep it at a cooler temp.

12 volt needed in 195RB fridge

I need help finding 12 volt that I can get to my fridge. It is a 110 / LP unit and I want to install a fridge fan inside and maybe later outside.

I found this one at a reasonable price

https://rvcoolingunit.com/Norcold-Ev...-P5205533.aspx

If you are not familiar with the 195RB the fridge does not have a light and uses a Piezo push button to ignite the LP. There is no 12 volt behind the fridge or under the sink next to it.

The only way I see is to pull the Wifco converter, drill into the sink area, cross that and drill through the side of the fridge. (This model has not drain tube as access).

Any suggestions or info from someone who has done it would be appreciated.

I tapped into the 12v accessory outlet on the wall to the right of the sink in order to get 12v out to the fan in the top outside vent. I also added a push-button to the accessory outlet panel so that I have a power disconnect when I need to work on the fan, etc. There is also a thermal sensor inline so that the fan only comes when needed. Here are some pictures of how I ran that connection.

The first picture shows where I drilled to gain access to run the wire to the outlet.
The second shows the end of the flexible tool I used to pull the wire from the outlet back out to the external vent.
The third shows the completed accessory panel reinstalled.
The fourth is the completed fan assembly.

I think you could just pull the wire over to the left side of the vent and then down to where you want it behind the fridge. I would avoid pulling it down the right side as that is where the burner/element is and it gets hotter over there.
