2012 white hawk dsbh brakes

Just got back from a 36 mile trip and my brakes were burning so I claimbed under the camper and saw the spring shackels were hitting the wires and crushed the brake wires against the frame and caused them to short out. Anyone else had this issue? And does any one thank jayco might cover this even though I'm the second owner this is clearly a vendor defect I have only had this unit a little over a month.

Unless Jayco warranties are transferrable, you may be calling 1-800-Sorry about your luck. Thankfully your rig didn't catch on fire!!

The Jayco warranty may not cover it but a good Jayco dealer may since they sold it to you that way and its only been a month. I'm pretty sure my dealer would take care of it as they took care of a few items when I bought a used TT last year that's since been traded in this year for brand new. They have never let me down!

Go back to the dealer who sold it, obviously they didn't do a thorough walk around did they charge a PDI fee?

Look at your axles on that camper. i just learned the hard way that on the early units they had the wrong size axles. they were 2-2/8" and mine just bent. I called Dexter Axle directly and they just shipped me two brand new Axles complete with all the brakes and springs. The new axles are 3". I just had to give them a few numbers off the trailer and the axle tubes. They are even giving me a few bucks labor to install them. May take care of two problems in one!!!

Thanks I will check on my axels after this weekend and call dexter. The dealer inspected and fixed the brake issue already.
