2024 166FBS Electrical inlet replacement

Hey All, 1st posting, I have searched and I have not seen anything like this so here goes..

Bought new 2024 166FBS, found a great storage place here in Florida. Issue is that when they were cutting grass between trailers they tagged my electrical cap and broke the cover. Power still works no issues there. Storage place was super cool about it and took full responsibility for it.

My question is, can this be replaced by me, or should I take it to the dealership? I am not sure how the wires behind the plate are attached etc..

Any suggestions are welcome!!

Thanks All!

I replaced a Marinco brand 30 amp receptacle on a friend's TT. I took the screws out that held it to the trailer side, and the wires connected to it with screw terminals. Took all of 15 minutes to change. The original plastic cover on hers had broken off.

I did an upgrade on mine that is so superior to the twist on plug. Much better connection with larger contacts. No heat issues, weather proof and a solid connection every time. Also available on Amazon.
