Both speakers are easy to get to, work on from the outside, I just used some white exterior caulk I had to seal them back up. You'll have to "cut" the old speaker out/caulk with a razor knife. Then I used the razor knife to slightly trim the opening larger, about 1/8" was needed to put the new speaker in. Depending on what you buy you may not need to trim the opening.
