Adding a small window I n X213 top bunk?

It’s already cramped and can get hot on the top bunk of our x213. Thinking of trying to lower the top bunk a couple inches and adding a small window to the wall above the door. Anyone here ever do it? Is it a bad idea. Trying to utilize the top bunk effectively. Any input would be greatly appreciated

Have you considered a small fan? A window can certainly be done, you just need to find one the will work for the size. I find it odd there isnt one already. Nearly all the bunkhouses we looked at had one for each bunk. Our 22bhm does as well.

no window on the x213. Tried the fan but gets very steamy and the moisture tends to be a problem.

Looks easy enough. I emailed Jayco today to see if I could get plans for the outside wall before I cut into anything.

See you U Tube ,some guys replacing and some are adding new. I am removing a 36x12 and adding a 36x24 to our White Hawk as we speak. Get the dwgs of the wall you are working with from Jaygo and have at it.

I'm not one to shy away from major projects, but if your rig is under warranty I'm pretty sure this will void it. If not, go for it!

I’d did get the drawings from Jayco and will try it when all of this nonsense settles down here. And the trailer is out of warranty so I’m good
