After slight rain had water leaking in from A/C unit on Jayco 213EXP

We had a slight rain on our weekend outing this past weeked. We quickly noticed water dripping out from the A/C vent in the center of the trailer down onto the center of the floor right in front of the oven. We did not have the A/C or fan running at all when the leak occured.

Where to I start to find out where this leak is coming from?
Any ideas would help - thanks.

Nevermind, just saw this thread: (http://www.jaycoowners.com/showthread.php?t=2880) will check this first and see if that solves my problem.

After checking, and/ or adjusting your A/C bolts, take a garden hose and run a low stream of water around the A/C unit base to see if it leaks again (don't spray water over the entire roof yet). Sometimes the actual leak is located elsewhere but finds it way out at the A/C vent.

Good chance it's the A/C bolts, only snug them down a little to avoid compressing the gasket to much.

Just checked mine today and yes they were loose to the point of almost falling out!!!
It's a 2010 model. Not much QC if u ask me.

NO not in this case... it is a foam gasket and compresses over time.. the most compression will happen the first few months..

I understand that they settle a bit but there was around an inch
Distance before it would make contact to the mounting frame.

A/C bolts should be checked once in awhile anyway, the bolts could loosen up just by the TT bouncing down the road, and not to mentioned the wind tugging on the A/C unit as well.
