Annoying red ligts on the Skylark

We have a 2012 Skylark. On the LED lights above the beds, there is a red light on the switch. That's all good exept for the fact that I hate them. I'm one of those weird people who can't sleep well with much light on. Has anyone disabled those red lights? I hate to beak them.

Our home alarm system has a "loud" green light that aluminates for off and red light indicating on. Don just made a little cover from a manilla file folder that flaps over the light. Not very technical but does the trick

Stick a bit of Black PVC tape over it.. cut it to match the switch design.

Thanks all. I was hoping I could just deactivate it or something. Looks like I'll be covering it up instead.

Yeah, I couldn't sleep with that red light staring me down either! So, I removed the little rubber cover to see if I could remove the LED. In so doing, I scraped the LED with my thumbnail, which caused it to stop glowing. So, I replaced the rubber cover and did the same thing with the rest of them. No more little red lights glowing!

The red illuminated rocker switches for my water heater and pump, plus the microwave clock, the radio display, and the propane detector light up the coach so bright you can practically read a newspaper in there...drives me crazy. The stuff that points at me I turn off and the stuff that doesn't I just deal with. I had a 3 hole cigarette lighter jack thing that had an LED on the part that plugs into the vehicle that was so bright I couldn't see the road at night. I blacked it out with several coats of sharpie marker...black of course.

We like the little red lights, they let you know exactly where the switches are to find them in the dark. Since my eyelids don't leak I can't see the red lights when I close my eyes, so they don't keep me awake, but are sure nice for those 4:00 a.m. potty breaks.

I have used liquid paper to cover a recessed led light before. Easy to cover, wipe the excess off before it dried and no more glare!

If you can get to the back of the switch and there are 3 wires, if you disconnect the wire going to ground it will disable the LED. As long as they are switching on/off the power line to the main light.
