Where exactly in the rear would you have room in the X213? The only place is under the bed slide and in the couch. That's where our chairs go and other things that get pulled out and set up and the area is full because it's not that large.
We keep our food in the pantry, kitchen stuff in the kitchen cabinets, clothing in the front wardrobe and cabinet above the bunk, bathroom stuff in the bathroom and tools and levelling stuff in the outside accessible cabinet. I like that when I arrive, I have very little set up. Slide out the bunk, set up dinette and toss the chairs, beach tent, and other lake stuff out the door and I'm ready to camp. So I'm not about to decide my canned goods are heavier than my beach tent and shove my canned goods under the dinette so I have more work to set up when I arrive.
We don't need the extra space anyway. We've got 5 of us and I'm happy with the amount we bring. A few more hooks in the place solved our issue of lack of space for jackets, towels and wet suits. I don't want to haul anymore stuff!
