Awning on 2017 Whitehawk 27DSRL

So just above the main door when it rains I get water that drips down. I can see it is not the awning as it is rolled up so I can see that it is coming from the small trough. So I put a small amount of silicone but it still drips, anyone have any thoughts.

I have the same issue right above the main door. However on mine the cause is obvious. It looks like when they installed the awning at the factory a screw was driven thru the gutter piercing it. They patched it with black caulk in the gutter and clear silicone caulk in the bottom of the gutter but it still drips. My concern is water penetration into the sidewall. It's on my warranty repair list after camping season is over.

i don't think any water is getting in the wall as it is coming on the outside of the trailer. Not sure I am going to do some water tests tomorrow to see if I can see exactly where it is coming from

Try raising the front off the trailer a little so the water flows to the back a little better. Also streetside of the trailer may a little low, put some boards under the streetside tires. Check to see that the gutter above and behind the awning isn't clogged up, forcing the water to drip before it gets to drain trough at the back.

I have a 2017 27DSRL as well and just recently experienced the same issue , in the same location you mentioned. It was a steady drip during a pretty hard rain.I haven't had time to check on the cause yet but this is beginning to sound repetitive. May just add that to my warranty list this fall.

Let me be the next to say that my 2015 Whitehawk 27DSRL leaks in the same spot. The dealership said they fixed it last winter but it still leaks this summer. When it cools down a bit I will go on the roof to check things out.

The dealers fix last fall was to add more caulk. But it only lasted few trips before it started dripping again. I have an appointment in October before the end of my warranty period and it's on the list to be fixed again.

Please let us know what happens.

Our warranty ended this spring, but before it ended, we dropped off the trailer and told the dealer about a leak from behind the awning down onto our screen door.

When we picked it up, they said they had fixed it, but we didn't ask how. We found out this spring that it still leaks onto the screen door.

(A Jay Flight, but seems the leak is similar.)

Didn't see this post until this afternoon after we returned from our weekend camping trip or we would have made it a point to check it out during a heavy rain this morning after we got up. We haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary with the awning and the door. We're coming up on 1 year so it sounds like we are lucky so far.

We have the same issue on our 2017 28 DSBH. It leaks over the rear bathroom door. I have not been able to find anything up there when I inspected it. The only thing I can think of is there is water penetrating the stitching in the awning fabric. I've heard of people spraying water proofing on the stitching and that solved the problem. I need to investigate further....

I have a 2016 27DSRL and have not5 experienced this issue but am curious - is the leak inside the coach at the door or just down the outside?
I want to look next outing so I'll create some "artificial" rain to see.
